Kenny G Steps Up for Save the Music

Looking for a really great Christmas present for someone? How about Kenny G’s saxophone? The Grammy-winning instrumentalist is part of VH-1’s newest online auction to benefit Save the Music Foundation. Now through November 23, head to charitybuzz.com to bid on a signed saxophone by the artist, along with other items and experiences from Colbie Caillat, Jewel, Ringo Starr and more.

Kenny has long been a big supporter of school music programs, having been the beneficiary of one growing up in Seattle. Even though he was initially turned down by his high-school jazz band, he holds no hard feelings. Becoming the top-selling instrumental artist in the world goes a long way to getting over that kind of rejection. Kenny is currently in Indonesia, finishing up some dates this week before picking up his US tour on Nov. 16.
