For nearly 3 decades, Kenny G has been one of the best-selling artists in the world. With 23 albums under his belt [including his latest, Heart and Soul], you might wonder how he views a new project -- and his own legacy. He provided some insights in a recent interview with the Bangkok Post. When asked about his incredible success, he noted, “There's no secret ingredient, it's just, you know, certain people have a certain feel to their music. I play very melodically in a lot of music that I do, so in that way I think people tend to like it.” As to his extraordinary longevity? “Well, every album is new and fresh. I look back and I'm proud of the work that I've done, but I usually just concentrate on the work I'm doing at the moment and I don't think about the past too much.” Kenny currently holds 2 slots on the charts with the title track to his new CD, plus, “Fall Again,” his collaboration with Robin Thicke.
